Dr Kavitha Chandramouli
Dr Kavitha has over 24 years of experience in the field of Orthodontics, she is an expert in invisible aligners in orthodontics, both for children and adults. She is adept at providing various modalities of orthodontic care including self-ligating braces, lingual braces and Invisalign. Another area of her specialization is Joint orthodontic or orthognathic correction of skeletal face deformities.
She completed her Bachelors degree (BDS) and Masters degree in Orthodontics (MDS) from Government Dental College, Bangalore. She excelled during her student days, always a topper throughout the program. She later moved to London and obtained her Fellowship from the Royal College of Surgeons, England.
During her tenure in the UK, she worked in prestigious centers including The Royal London Hospital. She was also actively involved in academics and served as Clinical Tutor at the Liverpool Dental School. She has presented at many national and international meetings and conferences. She serves as a visiting consultant in the UK since she returned to India. She is fully registered with the General Dental Council, UK. She is an active member of the British Orthodontic Society, the Indian Orthodontic Society and the Indian Dental Association.
She is also a part of the Smile Design Team at Aster CMI Hospital, Bangalore, which strives to give patients “a singularly spectacular smile”.
Dr Divya Prahlad
Dr Divya is a Pediatric Dentist, graduated from Government Dental College, Bangalore and completed her Masters in Pediatric Dentistry from Bapuji Dental College, Davanagere. She holds the third rank in the MDS examination at the state level. With 10 years of experience in the specialty, she skillfully fixes the smiles of her little patients with utmost care and attention to detail.
She started her career at Mazumdhar Shaw Medical Centre, Narayana Health, with dental rehabilitation of children with medical diseases and special needs. She is passionate in her work and her area of interest is to render dental care to children with special health needs.
She worked in the Ministry of Interior, Qatar as specialist Pediatric Dentist for 4 years before returning to India to pursue her passion. Her work involves early detection, preventive and restorative management of dental diseases in children.
She has published in national and international indexed journals. She has volunteered in dental outreach programs across the country. She is an active blogger and content writer on dental subjects and believes in creating awareness for better dental health to all.
Dr PC Jacob
Dr. Jacob is a Maxillofacial Prosthodontist with 25 years of experience. His expertise lies in the field of crown and bridge prosthesis, aesthetic dentistry, rehabilitation of oral and facial structures with dentofacial implants.
He completed his BDS from the College of Dental Surgery, Manipal and his Masters in Prosthodontics from Annamalai University. He is certified in Maxillofacial Prosthetics from the prestigious University of California, Los Angeles, USA, on an American Cancer Society fellowship. He is also a trained implantologist from the same centre.
He has published scientific articles in reputed journals like the Journal of Prosthodontics. He has lectured and conducted courses and workshops in India and abroad, at Bahrain, Indonesia, China, and Sri Lanka.
Dr Jacob is a key opinion leader for the 3M dental company. He is an active member of the Indian prosthodontics society and has been a member of the executive council, Indian Dental association and International society of Maxillofacial Rehabilitation.
He is also part of the smile design team at Aster CMI Hospital, Bangalore.
Dr Anjan Shah
Dr Anjan Shah is a Oral & Maxillofacial with a keen interest in reconstructive Head & Neck Surgery. He is an expert in facial reconstruction with microvascular flaps and rehabilitation with implants.
He completed his dentistry from Government Dental College, Bangalore in 1994, and Masters in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery from Nair Hospital Dental College, Mumbai. He completed his residency in Oral oncology at Kidwai Institute of Oncology, Bangalore and moved to the UK to complete his Fellowship. He has trained and worked at Southampton University, Sheffield University and Ipswich hospital.
He continues to hold a UK registration with the General Dental Council. He holds 5 fellowships, 2 from the English, Irish and Glasgow Royal colleges and one in Implantology. He is an Internationally board certified Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon. He is also a speaker for Nobel Biocare and has trained a number of dentists in implant dentistry.
Dr Dharam Hinduja
Dr Dharam Hinduja is a Cosmetic dentist and Endodontist. He is highly trained in painless endodontics with rubber dam isolation and has mastered the art of precision in root canal treatment, ceramic veneers and crowns.
Dr Dharam is also the Professor and Head at a Dental College and has keen interest in academic enrichment. He completed his degree with distinction and was the second rank holder in the postgraduate entrance. He achieved the DNB degree in Dentistry, an honour bestowed on very few clinicians countrywide. Dr Soubiya
Dr Soubiya is a Periodontist, graduated from M.S Ramaiah dental college, Bangalore consistently securing the first rank in all 4 years of the undergraduate program. She has also done masters in the field of periodontics.
Her expertise lies in ensuring health of gums and surrounding tissues through scaling, root planing and gum surgeries
She has cleared the USA national board examinations with merit. She has worked under the guidance of a USA-trained periodontist in Houston, Texas for a year. Having the experience of observing dental practice abroad she has implemented several newer techniques and enhanced skills into her work which has benefited her patients immensely. She has research papers published in international dental journals to add to her credit as well.
She believes that communication with the patient is the most important factor in providing appropriate and successful treatment.
